    if anything it would depend on time; as the thermistor has a negative temperature coefficient its resistance would decrease as it heats up, causing the temperature to increase. if left long enough both 12v and 24v directly connected to a ntc thermistor would cook it.

                  P1000 (and PT100) have positive temperature coefficients so they're inherently safe in that regards.

                      Hey guys....

                      What do you guys use as steps at M92 for the matrix thingy? I use exactly 300 at the moment, they mention 336. :? I'm a bit lost now... My setting seemed to be OK in the past but I have a lot of problems since I changed the filament.
