      Hi all,

Last week I (tried) to install a BLTouch but after multiple tries and adjustments in the config.g file I can't seem to let it work.

I did the configuration as mentioned on this website (https://betrue3d.dk/bltouch-on-duet-wifi-configuratio-and-usage/) . When this didn't work I checked the below troubleshooting page (https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/BLTouch_Troubleshooting) . Also no success.

Checked the wiring and it is connected as below
      7e9d5e36-993e-41ac-a87f-032bf971a3c5-image.png

Can somebody help me with my issue?
Below is the current setup in my config file.

@Cinny1988 said in BLTouch and Duet wifi - can't seem to let it work:

The following is for v2 firmware:

        M307 H5 A-1 C-1 D-1 ; unbind heater pin

This is for v3, assuming you are using heater 5 on the expansion connector.

        M950 S0 C"exp.heater5" ; create servo 0 on heater 5 pin on expansion connector

The M558 P parameter value was wrong, the A, R and S parameters were missing, the F and T parameters did not match the comment - see corrected M558 below:

        M558 P9 C"!zprobe.in" H5 F150 T2000 A10 R0.5 S0.3

        This looks OK:

        G31 P500 X25 Y0 Z2.5

        This looks OK:

        M557 X10:280 Y0:240 S20 ; Define mesh grid

        This looks OK:

M376 H3 ; Taper off compensation over 3mm of height

Normally you should load the height map at the start of printing - not here in config.g

        M375 ; Load heightmap.csv

Do you have your deployprobe.g and retractprobe.g files with the correct contents?

          Dear Frederick,

          Thank you for your feedback.
I changed the items in the config file but now I get the error z probe already triggered at start of probing move.

Below are the contents of my deployprobe.g and retractprobe.g files

            that is rrf2 syntax.

            change to

              Changed the codes to
              M280 P0 S10
              M280 P0 S90

Currently still get the error that the probe is already triggered at start of probing move.

Thanks everybody for helping me out with this.

Unfortunately it's still not working. Good news is that all the errors are gone but the probe itself is not doing anything.

When sending the G30 command it now raises the bed but the probe does nothing.

@Cinny1988 Are you on the correct pin? Your picture looks like you are not on H5. Mine is on pin 9 lower connector you look like you are on H3

                            Yes it finally works!
I changed the pin to H5 and adjusted the config information as shared.

Freeing up pins isn't needed by default in RRF 3.1 and beyond as the pins are free to begin with. You'd only need to free them if you wanted to reconfigure one on the fly.

Likewise this is no longer needed in RRF3 either. M307 H5 A-1 C-1 D-1 ; unbind heater pin
