Firmware install from scratch

@alankilian Thanks! Appreciate it, im just a bit frustrated by getting this new tool changer from e3d and I just want to play with it
It has a duet wifi, it already has firmware on the board but I couldnt get the wifi working so im basically trying to get a newer version of the firmware on it to see if that helps.
I think RRF 3 is probably the best idea since I would assume that is the most recent firmware.
Problem is I cannot connect to the Web UI as I cant get it to connect to my wifi, it keeps saying wrong password and it 100% isnt wrong.

Im basically getting
ok<LF>WiFi reported error: Wrong password while trying to connect to TP-Link_53BE<LF>WiFi module is idle<LF>
The correct details are there as I can ping my wifi from both my phone and raspberry pi.

@festivejelly OK, what version firmware are you running right now?
If you can get to a GCODE console try M115 and report back.
Also, you can ping it from your phone, but cannot connect to it with a browser?
Because the things you are saying are a bit in conflict.
If it's not connected to your WiFi, you can't ping it.
If it's connected to your WiFi, it won't say connecting to the WiFi failed.So onward.

@alankilian I was able to get access to the UI by following a guide on ooze nest
So ive connected to it as an access point which makes me think the wifi module seems to be working okay.
When I run M115 I get:
FIRMWARE_NAME: RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet FIRMWARE_VERSION: 3.01-beta3 ELECTRONICS: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later + DueX5 FIRMWARE_DATE: 2020-01-29b1<LF>ok<LF>
This sounds a bit old so I imagine I should probably upgrade it. My issue was not being able to connect to the wifi but I wonder if I can upload via this accesspoint method using the web interface I just need to figure out how to add my wifi details there.

@alankilian Sorry I was unclear. I mean I can ping my wifi from my phone but the duet cannot seem to connect to it.
The signal is strong too. I think it may be a firmware issue thats blocking me as I am able to connect to the board when I put it in access point mode.

Now that you have access to the web interface the firmware update is very easy.
Upload this zip file to the system tab in the web interface.

@phaedrux I tried this but I keep getting network error. Should I power up the board? At the moment its running on USB power.

Okay I manged to update the firmware by getting the SD card in my PC, dragging the new firmware files into the SD directory then putting the SD card back in the board, connecting via USB again and updating the firmware.
I also sent some commands to "forget" all wifi networks before trying to connect to my home hub... this seems to have done the trick and the wifi module is now connected to my home network
I can now navigate to its local IP too and all the tools etc are showing.Phew that was a struggle but I think im there now

@Phaedrux , how do I untangle a mix of RRF 3.2.2 and 3.3 ? My goal is 3.3 but the printer is behaving strangely and the web interface and the Paneldue are not working fully correctly?
