    @tia79
    this is probably caused by Brexit? Maybe all resellers in EU have to re-negotiate their contracts with British companies?

      @tia79 In the defense of those resellers, supply has been quite constrained for Duet3D products, I can't remember the last time we (Filastruder) had all Duet3D products in stock at the same time.

        I agree, even the car industry is struggling to get electronic components.

          had the same problem so i got mine from E3D but expect heavy vat costs at customs. I dont know if Duet3D is making boards right now (i hope so) because there own store is closed

            @jules-0 Duet3D is definitely making boards, as fast as they can.

              There seems to be a worldwide shortage of microchips. I've been trying to get hold of an Odroid SBC for 3 months but they remain on back order.

                @tia79 As others have said, we are making boards as fast as we can, although playing catch up due to a long period if reduced output from our manufacturers. A 2 week manufacturing shutdown to to a covid case plays havoc with schedules.

                  I ordered my Odroid cluster when they had a sell out. 9$ for a MC1-solo 👅
                  An Odroid N2, former head of the cluster is still running as a 'smart-TV'-adapter.

                  A big part of my last job as hardware senior engineer was to search the market for electronic components.
                  'Us first' is a slogan you hear very often, lately. The growing Chinese market makes it hard to produce PCBs outside of China.

                    @t3p3tony I get that. But the resellers refuse to even order something for you even if it takes 4 months. Thats what irritates me about the reseller program. Not that duet is far behind due to covid19.

                      The covid and Brexit is being the cause.

                      Not only Duet3D has supply problems. We have several suppliers from different categories that have the same problems of supply interruptions and much longer replenishment times (Misumi, RS, Rexroth, Hoffmann ... to name a few examples).

                      I also have to say that the Duet distributor in Spain is not one of those who usually have too much stock (or none) since it is the typical store that goes to low-priced product and massive sale, and Duet is not.

                        That's what probably needs to be negotiated. Does your reseller have to pay on order or on delivery? A four month gap makes a huge difference..
