      My mini 5+ just started to stall E0. Just light touch on motorshaft and it stalls. Worked a few days ago.

      Is there any way via terminal to see what is going on with E0 driver/motor?

        @tecno what firmware version?

        Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

              Guess what, changed to Capricorn XS Series PTFE tube that is the reason that filamentis not sliding smoothly. Cranked up amps from 800mA to 1200mA and still same issue. So went back to normal PTFE tube and now it prints, No retract issues either what I can see.

              No more Capricorn for me !!!

                  Hi guys,
                  I was totally wrong as regards Capricorn.

                  The issue was a cooling fan for hotend not up to the task all the time giving me more grey hair!
                  Changed to and old CPU cooler fan and all my troubles went away.

                  So not enough cooling makes clogging and one blaims the tube = my bad !

                  New fans on the way, Noctua 40 5000rpm and Noctua 60mm, I can not stand the noise from this oldie Cooler Master CPU fan.

                  Sorry to be barking at the wrong tree.

                  Cheers
                  Bengt

                    @tecno Thanks for keeping up the diagnosis and experiments.

                    It's great to read how someone tried a few dead-ends and finally solved their problem.

                    This will help others in the future I bet.

                      I really hope so, this one was a cliffhanger. I could print ABS with no problems at all but PETG was on the edge to work or not = mostly not after a while, could print several layers and then.....

                      Thanks for the heads up.
