PanelDue “connecting”

Re: Got my paneldue... It says "connecting" and controls nothing...
I am having the same issue and have tried 4 different cables (all 4 pin). Not sure what to do as I am stuck.

It would really help to know what firmware version you have on your Duet and PanelDue.
In RRF3 you need this command in config.g to enable the paneldue.
M575 P1 B57600 S1

I have for the Duet the latest, 3.3(?) I believe and the panel is what it came with as I can update, it’s 1.24 I believe and downloaded 3.3 to update but have not been able too as it can’t connect.
I did add that line from the instructions as you mentioned.

@phaedrux additionally and pardon for the ignorant questions.
Do you need the S1?

Please provide the results of M122 and M98 P"config.g" as well as the contents of config.g itself.
What Duet board do you have?
What PanelDue do you have?
How do you have it wired?
What port are you trying to use?Have you seen these?

@phaedrux yes I read all those. I changed the baud rate on the screen to match what the code was. Then to update the firmware I had to connect via USB to the panel. Thank you.

So it's working now?

@phaedrux Yes - thank you!!
