      I have successfully updated the FW to 3.3 on this board I use to control my CoerXY printer. but I seem to have a troubling problem. When I got into system thru DWC and open the config.g, I'm not seeing what I know should be there. Instead I'm seeing a config.g for a Configuration file for factory testing Duet Ethernet and Wifi with V2.05.1 firmware. My config.g seems to have disappeared. THIS IS NOT GOOD TO SAY THE LEAST. Can anyone assist me?

        @gbusy24 how did you update?
        Sounds like you replaced the contents of the SD card with something off the internet

        Owns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

          @jay_s_uk I first updated from 2.05 to 3.0 by installing the Duet2 and 3 combined FW from the duet page on github like I always have. Updated to 3.0 by the same method. Worked fine that way on my new Duet 2 board I recently purchased. Used the same process. Only difference is that I hadn't set up any config.g's on it yet.

            Strange thing I notice is there is a ' CoreXY sample config file for dc42 Duet firmware' in the config.g BK. folder. I have no idea what a 'BK' type file is. None of the parameters are correct for my machine. This may be something left over from 2016 when I first got the board When I first got the board.

              Do you see a config.g.bak file?

              Do you have a backup of your older config files?

              Does that mean you uploaded the full zip file package, or just the firmware bin file?

                @phaedrux I uploaded the complete package. Unfortunately, I do not seem to have a backup file although I sort of remember saving it 5 years ago. You know how that goes. I actually do have some backup files that I'm working on but it's difficult because they are embedded deep within some FB messenger posts with
                someone 5 years ago. I might as well bite the bullet and realize I am going to have to set everything up again. I've tried the configurator but it gets pretty confusing at times. Maybe not confusing but just cumbersome is the word I will choose

                  Even if you find your old config.g, it wouldn't work with RRF3.x There are so many changes, they even dedicated a separate Wiki page to it.

                    @o_lampe Thanks for that info. Wasn't aware of all that. Time to get at it then.
