        @T3P3Tony

        What's new ...

        I have tried to read Duet's MicroSD card, in a laptop, and it has not recognized it ... I'm not very sure about this, I have to do more tests ...

        When connect Duet by USB its not hot...

        But the biggest novelty is that while I was testing the MicroSD on the PC, it had Duet On, with the PPO sensor, which is that it has fumed, disconnected ... and 2 minutes after starting it, approximately, WITHOUT the MicroSD card, I was testing it ... I started to smell smoke, and I immediately identified and turned off the printer, that the smoke was coming out of the Hotend, and it was very hot ... as if the Heater Cartridge was heating from the beginning...

          @peirof hmm that's why I said to unplug everything else in the earlier post it sounds like there was damage to the microprocessor and probably other parts of the system that run on 3.3v. The SD card being damaged is also a good indication of this.

              @peirof I think it's likely to be beyond repair. But if you have not yet done so please unplug everything and then test with USB.

                @T3P3Tony , i suppose its very dead... until yesterday maybe..., but with the latest facts ... "bad he puts the eye to the mare"

                Well, I will recycle my old Duet v1. The doubt I have is the one I have commented before ... if I connect it, as is everything, I have a very high probability that it will join me with 2 paper treads. Also, it sounds to me that the Duet 1 board does not have the Duet 2 protections.

                How could I connect Duet v1, in the safest way possible?
                Could a DuetX connect it all through an expansion board? (I think they are called)

                        @peirof U3 is one of the regulator chips on the board (5v to 3.3v I think?) Check thr labels on the board and you'll spot it, or look at the schematics.

                        Moreover though, you almost certainly have an issue in your wiring, probably with your z probe. You need to fix this before blowing up another board! As the others have said, get a multimeter and check ever connection & wire twice before they cause further damage
