      Hi,

As I have commented in previous posts, I have changed my current printer, a Delta, for a Corexy. Specifically a kit, the Ratrig V3, with a Duet 3 Mini board.

Looking at the connection diagrams for the future ... there is a part that I do not understand well, and it is the connection of the HEATED BED.

The connection of the HEATED BED is not directly to the Duet 3 mini, it is through an SSR, but it is not clear to me how the HEATED BED is connected, with the SSR and with the PSU.

In the diagram on the web, which I attach, it is not clear to me how it connects ...

Could someone tell me how they connect (Duet 3 mini, Heated Bed and SRR).

Previously, I connected the HEATED BED directly to the Duet board, but from what I have read, connecting it this way has windows, the first is the DUET 3 protection, and the second the heating rate...

Another VERY important aspect is that I have to be very careful with the wiring, since I can fry the Duet board.

Assuming the bed heater is a mains powered heater, one of the power wires goes to mains neutral, the other goes to one of the 'AC' terminals of the SSR. The mains hot wire goes to the other 'AC' terminal of the SSR.

From what I understand of that scheme.

The printer will have 2 plugs: 1 for the printer and one second ONLY FOR The HEATED BED

That's one option. You could also split the bed heater at the PSU AC inputs and control both with a single power switch. It would depend on what the total draw would be whether you wanted to have a dedicated plug for the bed. Or if you wanted an independent power switch.

@peirof, if your bed heater is 24V, you connect to 24V instead of the line voltage. same wires

@jens55 thanks.... You put my in the way

I was melted, I thought the Heated pad was going to be 24v, and I think it's 220v, now everything makes more sense... There is even a wiring scheme that on the website of the manufacturer of the Heated pad

                    C-LinSSRWiring_large.jpg

The heated pad its: heated pad

                    Thanks to all for help

@peirof, You might want to double check everything. If you put 24V on a 120V bed heater that would not melt anything. If you put 120V on a 240V bed heater, that wouldn't melt anything. If you put a higher than rated voltage on the bed heater then things would melt. If you powered up the bed heater without it being solidly attached to the aluminum bed, you would melt things.

                        Thank you..

You will have news, I hope that no, but... If you see in the press at the end of January, in the events section, that there has been a fire in Valencia (Spain), by a 3d printer ... it may have been me
