Voron Afterburner Toolhead board
-
The afterburner toolhead pcb has an onboard thermister for sensing the chamber temperature. It has two connections one of which is labelled AGND i.e analogue ground. I am using a duet pt100 board to connect a PT100 sensor one side of which is also connected to the AGND pin.
Is there likely to be a problem if I connect the AGND pin to both the PT100 input and the e0temp ground pin?

Do you have a link to this PCB?

@phaedrux , I believe it's this one , the 14 pin connector goes to the duet and the smaller connectors connect to head parts. The fans and heater GND are not really grounds, probably going to power mosfets on the duet.

I'm doing the exact same thing that want to do here, i found the best solution was to Just pull two extra cables for the PT100 and terminate them to a 2pin molex microfit 3 for the PT100. It will snuggly fit between the existing 14pin molex microfit 3 connector and the stepper connector on the HARTK tool board take a Molex microfit 3. On the duet side just connect it as normal to the temp daughterboard.
I can take a picture when i get home if you want to see how it ends up.
