RATOS Support?

Hey guys,
I have not seen anyone in this forum ask about RatOS. I was wondering if you guys will every support this? RatOS is for the Vcore 3d printers and offers pre-configurations for the Rat rig printers that makes it easy to setup. It also uses Klipper.

I did try and use this system with your products but there are configuration files missing. If I could get those files I could get it to work. One of the files that I need is a file that tells klipper the board pin out . Which is a config.cfg file.

I can provide more detail if you guys think you can help.

@jered Duet3D supports RepRapFirmware on Duet. There is some community support here for running other firmwares on Duet, but generally it's better to ask the question in the RatOS/Klipper community.

For actually using RatOS/Klipper, it depends which Duet board. Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet/Maestro and Duet 3 Mini 5+ are already supported by Klipper (see example configs here https://github.com/Klipper3d/klipper/tree/master/config). Duet 3 MB6HC support has been added, but no official configs yet; see this thread https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/22890/

RatOS appears to have a fairly short list of boards that it is preconfigured for. See here https://os.ratrig.com/docs/introduction/ under supported boards.

Ok, I will have a look. I could make it work if I had all the files needed. I will keep looking into this.

@jered Note that, from what I understand, there is no support for Duet 3 CAN connected expansion boards in Klipper.

@droftarts thats correcr, but I know at least one person that Claims they can make the boards speak regular CAN instead of CAN FD at which point they may become viable for klippers multi MCU mode.
