I've done tons of PA and input shaping tuning. I print calibration prints like the ringing tower below. It's immaculate. 120mm/s on single wall perimeter and the only artifacts at all are just from the fact that it's translucent. There is not a single palpable feature on it, other than the design.

Then we get to the benchy. I print it with exactly the same settings, force the perimeter speeds to be the same, and the bow comes out like a soft turd. You can bondo and sand the ripples they're so deep.

I've tried printing in all 4 cardinal directions, at the diagonals in between. My cooling is powerful enough to blow the print off the bed if it's not adhered well. My temps are right.

Does anyone have any idea, why this model, and only this model is cursed?

Do you have any other models I should try? I've done all of the calibration ones, clearance castle, and other clearance tests, they're all great.

Can the overhang be the critical difference?

@dad003 definitely not a loose belt. Slower always seems to fix what ails ya, but I'm trying to translate the results from all of the "tuning" prints into real world performance.

is this with 3.4.1? There is an ongoing discussion about changes in the 3.4 PA implementation maybe causing this (forum search fails me right now). If it's easily possible for you, downgrading to 3.4 and even 3.3 might reveal whether you're affected by this.

@gnydick Does that line coincide with where the slicer has placed the seam?

@gloomyandy I wish it was, but it's not.

@oliof I have tried that, didn't change anything.

I'm starting to suspect it's a slicer issue. I saw that the new Carbon X1 is having some similar problems that are slicer related.

I'll try another slicer and see what I get.
