    Does anybody have good results using tents like this for your printers?

      I've used plain plastic sheeting to good effect. A tent like that would work well in theory.

        @tecno I used 2 black plastic bin bags when I printed ABS on my delta. Transparent bags would have been better.

          @tecno I used one for my printer for a while when it was in the (unheated) garage. I could get the enclosure up to about 50C ambient just from holding the 400W 300x300x6mm bed at 100C. Probably could have gone a bit higher but was a bit concerned some parts may have not liked the high temp.
          I don't print much ABS (mostly PLA), but seems okay for the few prints I did do.

          Was also quite handy for keeping dust/dirt off the printer (a must in the garage!), and helped with a bit of sound insulation.

          Main draw back was that it made is a bit harder to get to all parts of the printer for maintenance, but this largely depends on what's around it too.

            @engikeneer @dc42 @Phaedrux

            Plastic bags are very static so I don“t like those also my delta is BIG.

            Will try to use some wide bubble wrapping to test with to see how bad it can be.

            Thanks for you kind input guys, always appreciated.
