Update your Pi and firmware with sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade from the pi terminal.

I did the update with pi but now the motors don't work very well and the fans still don't work says it all

Ok, so now when you send M122 you should see matching firmware and DCS versions of 3.4.1.
Now in DWC can you check the DWC version?
