During Bed Probe G29

The Z Probe Field in the UI will occasionally read 1000 in red, which I assume is a failure. The process also has died 3/4 done (full bed 11mm spacing) with a error saying the probe reading is inconsistent.. Any clue as what to look for that could be causing the failures and the 1000 code if that is indeed a bad code?? I just put a new BuildTak sheet on and have had the bed heating for well over 2 hours before running so should be stable. Just restarted the process to if it will finish.

Typically the reading of 1000 indicates the Z probe is triggered, while a reading of 0 indicates the probe is NOT triggered.
We would need to see the two Z probe configuration commands (M558 and G31) in regards to the inconsistent readings - it may just be a setting issue.

It didn't fail. It's just telling you that your mesh size has areas that aren't physically reachable by the probe. If you want to get rid of the errors, modify your M557 mesh xy positions to take the probe offset into account.

@Phaedrux seem odd, as I have never seen that in the past and the following is well within the build plate of 200x250

@airscapes your probe offset in Y is -21
to probe at Y239, the nozzle needs to be Y260, which is outside your axis limitsOwns various duet boards and is the main wiki maintainer for the Teamgloomy LPC/STM32 port of RRF. Assume I'm running whatever the latest beta/stable build is

I will update my macros to only include what the probe can reach, or at least make a note to myself to ignore those next time.. -

Can you explain the P25 to P500? I probably found P25 for BLTouch in this forum or in an example. What is it actually doing, the dictionary just says trigger value and does not elaborate?

You really only need to care about the P value when using an analog probe. Just set it as P25 for the BLtouch. -

Interesting, still reads 1000 and 0.. not but not every time it reads a point. I did run a full bed at 100C with no failure to read. Running 110C now. Thanks!

The trigger time on a BLtouch is very short and then resets. The DWC display might not always refresh at the right time to catch it.
