Duet 3 HC6 firmware wont write

The 3rd time doing this since i got the Duet 3 hc6, trying to flash new firmware.
Has been stuck on 0% for ages.https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_firmware
Link is not helpfull at all.
This thing has been fighting me for ages, every time it needs and update it gets worse, DWC was unable to update from 3.2 to 3.3 or 3.5.4.
So tried resetting and updating via usb, nothing works. -
@Snippy ironically I had this same issue only a week or so ago, try uninstalling bossa, redownloading it and also change the USB port you are using, mine was stuck on 5%

Things i have tried so far.- Other cables.
- Other ports.
- Using my laptop.
- Reinstalling bossa.
- New SD card.
- Not looking at it wrong.
- Having a dog near it for emotional support.
- Swearing

@Snippy does it fail to update via DWC? Try erasing the firmware just before connecting. A partial firmware flash can cause the board to lock up, and needs erasing again before you can attempt firmware flashing again.

Got it to update, Had to use a 20cm long usb cable and reinstall windows on an old thinkpad to get around this. -
@Snippy where’d the board come from?

@Snippy if you have a Raspberry Pi, I’ve always found that a reliable way to update main boards.
