      We sent Tom a Duet to review well over a year ago. Feel free to remind him!

          @Barracuda72:

          Done..

          BTW "best Board"..as i looked with what board i want to upgrade my Delta i looked into Tom Salandere´s YT Channel and his Board Review´s but theres no review of the duet? Its the most knows channel about 3d printing so why not let him do a review?

          Because despite liking Tom and his content very much, he and the other big YouTube 3D printing channels have to fund their activities, most are doing it full time now, and therefore they are going to do reviews which generate them revenue streams, by sponsorship, affiliate marketing etc…

          They are unlikely to review something unless they have been offered this type of incentive to do so. Unfortunately and it is always the case with reviews, this renders the review somewhat (not completely of course so please take this in the way it is intended) subject to possible bias.

          You only need to read Which magazine or other similar things, to realise that it is not always the best product which gets 5 stars, but the one whose manufacturer has "helped" the publication the most.

              I think I remember Tom saying online about a month ago that he does intend to review the Duet. For while he had a policy of not doing reviews, but he seems to have dropped that now because he did two Prusa i3 mk3 reviews.

                  Tevo didn't help by trying to PayPal him $1000 for a review

                      No Tevo were rather cheeky, but I would be a monkey's uncle if Prusa have not remunerated him in some way. I'm not saying that the mk3 is not worthy of good reviews, if I were buying a printer tomorrow and I needed ease of use and reliability, it would be the printer I would buy.
