Ethernet not working what did i miss ?
-
The Ethernet LED should turn on when the cable is plugged in and the M552 S1 command to enable networking has been executed.
YAT is reporting the actual IP address when you send M552, so if you enter that address into the address bar of a browser on the same network, you should get either the Duet Web Control page, or an error message from the Duet if it can't find the reprap.htm file on the SD card.

Okey i have copy the sd card form the old one with that result that the ip is 0.0.0.0.
network is enable. but still no light
-
i have not switch the sd cards around butt still only the old is working
-
i did the set up 8 times now still no light
Maby it is just a bad board
-
@the_lund strange that the Ethernet LEDs do not light up, but it got an IP address what happens if you ping it:
ping 192.168.0.22
You say you have a Duet Ethernet that is working, what happens if you unplug the ethernet cable from that and plug it into the new one, with only 5V power applied and nothing else plugged in?
-
Did not work sorry ping the wrong ip
i have tryed with the cabels -
@the_lund what is displayed in the browser when you go to the IP address?
-
Did not work sorry ping the wrong ip
Another pc has taken the same ip
i have tryed with the cabels
-

-
@the_lund it sounds like the board is faulty, please would you contact the reseller you bought it from and arrange a replacement under warranty.
-

I am having a similar issue. With USB cable connected the ethernet stays on but the minute I disconnect the USB and power up the board, it stays on for a few seconds and then turns off.

Do you mean that just the Ethernet turns off, or something else?
Do you have a jumper on the I_5V_EN pins, to enable the internal 5V regulator?
-
@dc42 Ethernet shuts off. Blinks for a few seconds and stops.

Do the red 5V and green 3.3V LEDs on the Duet go off as well?
