Endstop usage for remapped E2 and E3?
-
Hey,
I'm building a corexy machine, using the duet 2 wifi 1.04.
I'm running integrated servo drives for x and y axis use the E2 and E3 drive outputs with a logic level shifter to control it.
So now if I assign the drive 5 and 6 to be used as x and y do I still have to connect the endstop switches to the dedicated x and y endstop connectors or to the E2_stop and E3_stop pins?
My firmware version is 2.04RC1, DWS 1.23 and DWC 2.0.0-RC7
Thanks for your helpcheers

@gueee78 End stops are assigned to axes, not drives. So if you re-map different drives to existing axes, then the end stops stay the same. If you create additional axes (e.g. U and V) then you would use different end stops for those axes (E0 and E1 I think).

@deckingman thanks a lot, that's what I thought, I just wanted to make sure cause if the wire routing, it would have been a pita to reroute the wires.
