Duet Maestro with 12864 display

Hi everyone,
I know there are many threads about those two but I can't seem to make them work together.I made all the wiring of Maestro without any problem, but I can't find anywhere how the 12864 LCD should be connected with Maestro.
I found THIS PICTURE around the forum where all I can see is that you have to plug in both cables at the bottom right of the motherboard, but the display doesn't turn on.
Clearly I modified the config file with the "M918" command trying both "M918 P1 E2 F2000000" and "M918 P1 E4 F2000000" as configured using the "RRF config tool".
Also I configured the menus following the dozuki wiki guide but it doesn't work as I hoped.
I can't understand if the problem is caused by the wiring or the configuration.Do you have any suggestion or is there anything I could have missed?

Can you post a photo of the back of the display? Does it have a pinout silk screen on it?
Have you tested the cables for continuity?

The 12864 display comes from an Anet A6 3d printer.

Yes, I've tested the cables and they're fine.

You will find the Duet Maestro Wiring Diagram on the Duet3d wiki. If you compare the pinout, you see that they differ. So at least the cabling needs to be redone.
But then, there are different 12864 controllers, and Duet only supports those based on ST7920 currently. I don't know if the Anet display uses ST7920 or something else.

yes the cros of the cables was obvious to do but I have not absolutely thought about the processor I already understood everything thanks.
sometimes you have solutions under your nose but you don't see them

Looking at the Marlin code, it looks like the Anet 12864 might work if you make a custom cable to account for the different pinout.

Is the LCD side plugged on the edge of the board near the corner and the J3 side is connected afterwards. But before you connect it have you taken the plastic guide and reverse it because the 12864 LCD that I have was inverted.....

sometimes you have solutions under your nose but you don't see themSorry to reply to an old topic. But has someone figured this out? When I compare the pinout I see different names on the pins. Someone knows which LCD-pin has to be connected to which Maestro pin?
