Duet 2 Wifi voltage problem is it the hardware?
-
same as:
@bearer said in No power using 24v psu:
Check your fuse, make sure the int_5v jumper is in place and inspect the board for damage (or upload a picture). Something is preventing the onboard 5v circuit from working.
-
-
is this just debris or a hole in the chip?
(its the prime suspect for your problem in general)
-
and i meant this fuse
-
Oh... so the most likely problem is the chip?

that is the chip that make the 5v and in turn 3.3v so if it has a hole in it, yes.

@bearer how do I solve this issue?

I'd wait for the Duet people to drop in and ask a few questions around the circumstances and take it from there.
You can continue setting up the build and configuring providing 5v via usb, just beware of https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/USB_ground_loops
To save yourself some time, add when/where it was purchased as its one of the things the Duet people will ask anyways.

24v Duet 2 wifi bord
because of school and iterating the motion platform design I had not much time to work on the software side of things. -
So @dc42, what can I do in this circumstance with the hardware?
-
Is it correct to say you've had the board for a year now but only recently installed it?
-
@Phaedrux Yes, that is the case

While we can't offer warranty replacement on this unit we can offer a possible refurbished unit on exchange. Please contact Roland on sales@Duet3d.com to inquire. Include a link to this thread.
