Im running the 4wire connection to paneldue and no sd card in paneldue -
Now that you have the sys folder sorted out can you upload the whole firmware zip file again?
https://github.com/Duet3D/RepRapFirmware/releases/download/2.05.1/Duet2Firmware-2.05.1.zip
-
@GG Reloaded firmware but paneldue still does not mimic dwc when homing, When I first put duet sd into computer , the pc tells me error on this card, ask windows to scan and fix, however it then opens to reveal contents ?? I tried to copy and paste the contents of the duet card and syst files but the pc tells me they are write protected and I cant copy and paste.

SD card1 Card is unusable
that is the card reader on the paneldue.
it could be that the wire picks up interference. -
Do you have another SD card to try?
Could the write protection on the SD card be from the adapter card you're using having the write protect switch flipped?
-
@Phaedrux I tried the protect switch flip but same result, when I use dwc I can heat bed and nozzle and extrude via macros etc, but with panel due I cant even heat nozzle etc, or home properly. I have a new micro sd , may be I should start again with fresh firmware files and load new config etc and see what happens, any thoughts
-
It would be helpful if you could make a video on your phone or something that showed what the behaviour of each is.
It really makes no sense that the DWC homing buttons and the PanelDue buttons behave differently since they call the same macros.
-
@Phaedrux I made a video but it is way too large to send and will not send any suggestons ?
-
google drive or dropbox or vimeo or youtube
-
Im Still trying to send video, the paneldue even shows the current temps of bed and extruder so its obviously talking to the duet board but not reading the same config
-
Yes I'm very curious to see what's actually going on.
-
@Phaedrux Ive got the video on gmail google drive but cant figure how to attach it to this box
-
There's a share menu in there some where that you can get a link to copy and paste here.
-
@Phaedrux Cant see a share menu will have to try another system, should I try erasing paneldue and reinstalling firmware. ?
-
If you click on the video icon in google drive there is a bar along the top of the window that has what looks like a stylized paper clip or chain link icon. If you hover over it, it says get link. Clicking on it will bring up a window that should give you a web URL to copy.
You can also right click on the movie file in google drive and in the menu there is a "get link" item as well.

No, let's try and figure out where we are before we burn the map.
-
@Phaedrux Yep got that far "get link" it says no one added yet, how do I put in this forum s link, sorry about my lack of savy
-
Once you're in the Get Link pop up you should be able to just copy the link and paste it here.

@GG https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZpLHyBXsJ4Dwc_gfxwHcxilEoOrmHD_C/view?usp=sharing hope this works, if video not good enough I can make another
-
Almost. You'll be getting an email requesting access to your link. Then I should be able to see it.
