Some general questions about, fans and connectors.
-
Hi,
If the general forum is the wrong place to post this, let me know.
1 Does Duet3d sell extra board connectors?
2 whats the better wire to wire connector for a 3D printer? I have tested a bunch but noone has that spot on fit. Ideally I like to find same as onboard connectors but in male female for wire to wire.. But any high quality with small form factor is ok.3 Radial layer fan, it seems like quality radial fans with low noise is impossible to find.. There is the standard 5 v Chinese and then 12-24v Pabst but not a single radial fan specifically developed for 3d printer with effect and low noise. Or is it out there?

(1) just look for Molex KK I got some from ebay !!!
(2) I use JST SM plugs and socket which is what creality uses on the ender 5 plus .
(3) Get a 12/24v to 12v/5v buck converter and you fit any fan you want. -
For wire to wire I use XT30 for heaters and JST SYP for low current applications.

@RogerL
The answer to question 1 depends on the board(s). They are all readily available - full list can be found here https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Wiki/Connector_and_spare_part_numbers -

Check out Sunon. Radial fans are intended for high pressure delivery, which is usually the opposite of low noise, but there are some decent options that behave well with PWM speed control.
