I'm a fairly noobie RepRap user and saw a discussion of using start.g in a recent post. I don't use any of the *.g files (other than config.g) mainly because I don't know where/when they are called and what they are expected to do.

Is there any way the documentation could contain a table of information - "file name", "description", "when invoked"?

That would sure help me understand how to diagnose stuff and how to build the right helper files. Doing a search through the doc for start.g, for example, leads to the G-Code doc - which has zero info on start.g.

      Thanks

@droftarts Very useful page. Thank you (both) much for the link. I'd still vote for a simple table but this is definitely adequate.
