I got working other axes homing, but Y-axis does not seem to work. It is as if the endstop is immediately triggered when trying to move to endstop.

      M119 Reports:
Endstops - X: not stopped, Y: not stopped, Z: not stopped, U: not stopped, Z probe: at min stop

The machine I have is markforged kinematics style idex-printer (one motor for each axis).

      My homey.g file:

      G1 H2 Z5 F6000 ; lift Z relative to current position
G1 H1 Y-405 F1800 ; move quickly to Y axis endstop and stop there (first pass)
      G1 Y5 F6000 ; go back a few mm
G1 H1 Y-405 F600 ; move slowly to Y axis endstop once more (second pass)
      G1 H2 Z-5 F6000 ; lower Z again

        Hi,

Why do you have stall motor detection configured as well as end stops?

        Thanks.

@Visionary said in Endstop instantly triggered when homing (y-axis):

          M350 X256 U256 Y256 Z64 I1 ; configure microstepping without interpolation

this will overload your cpu. go with x16 unless there is a specific reason

It is for stealthchop. My machine used to be corexy
and I have not yet optimized/checked best values for stealthchop with the new kinematics.

It was set high as possible for silent movement.
I will try lower values, though 16x seems very low?
Can I use something like 64x or 128x?

the driver interpolation will run them interally at x256

I changed all microstepping to 16x and commented stealthchop related commands. This didn't change y-axis homing. It still seems to instantly "reach" endstop. After homing y-axis can be moved normally, though the position won't be correct.

That is also related to stealthchop according to some post. Stall detections doesn't work with stealthchop .

Regular normally open microswitches. I think ill change it just be sure because I have crashed into it few times.

Can you wire them to use the NC connection - using the NO connection is discouraged.
