Man, was almost there, now dead board
-
Everything was working great. I had PID tuned the hotend 2x, getting it dialed in, powered it off to do something (cant recall) and now the board won't start. blue light only.
Checked everything, changed power supply, nothing. Just checked again now and noticed a fan connector had lost its wire. looking about for that wire.... it is sitting on the extrusion maybe shorted. but really? would that kill the duet wifi board? I'm handy with a meter and soldering iron... anything I can test?picture of board

@thetazzbot Not to be Captain Obvious, but did you test all the fuses?
-
@alankilian Yeah. looked fine. but when i checked with voltmeter on continuity, one of them no beepy... hmmm
-
@thetazzbot if a fuse has blown please check your wiring carefully as something drew a lot of current to blow a fuse.
-
@thetazzbot you go Captain Obvious! sneaky little fuse popped at just the right spot that its hard to see. PS it was the 7.5 amp fuse
-
@thetazzbot so 7.5A feeds all of the board other than the bed and the fans so that narrows down (a bit) where the short was that cause the fuse to blow. Before putting anther fuse in its worth truing to find what cause it to blow..

@t3p3tony Yeah I unwired everything and changed the fuse I only had a 10a, ok for testing but I will buy 7.5a before reassembly. Thanks.
