hi, after restarting my printer i lost the retraction setting
    however I have M207 S4.0 F5000 Z0.5 in config.g and also in filament config,
    but after a restart I have 2mm retraction at 16mm / s
    what did I miss?

@bastien said in setting Retraction after restart:

          M207 S4.0 F5000 Z0.5

would say you should define your tool first and then add the retract settings add :

           M207 S4.0 F5000 Z0.5

          after the tool definition

I will test, but normally the setting of the filament config will have to be taken care of on T0 then that the filament is loaded

Even with T0 before, the settings are not loaded, I also tested to keep only the filament config, same result after a restart,
while waiting to find a solution, I will put it in my macro, start print, so as not to forget

@bastien You misunderstood me. You have defined the settings for the retract in your configuration in line 33. Your tool is first defined from line 68 onwards so put your M207 after line 71
