      Hi,

      So I am upgrading my Railcore XL from a Duet 2 wifi and expansion board to Duet 3 6CH V1.01. I got everything working except the heated bed. The problem is the bed is not getting power. I have the power from the PSU to the Power in and the bed connected to OUT 0. But I just realized that I need to connect something to the OUT Power in terminal. Is that right? I don't need extra power so should I just connect a wire from the VIn in to the OUT Power in terminals? I just want to check before I burn down my house.

        @renatojd

        The 6HC as two power in connections just for the bed heater (OUT 0 POWER IN).

        You need to connect the power source for the bed heater to those two connections.

        You can connect jumpers from the main power in connections (POWER IN).

        You need to connect the heater to the two power out connections for the bed (OUT 0).

          @fcwilt Greate, thank you. So just to be clear, when you say jumpers, I can just use a wire with terminals on both ends and cross + to + and - to -?

            Correct.

            Just be careful to connect the correct pairs of terminals.

            • Make the connections
            • Check the connections
            • Check the connections again.
            • Look away and begin to wonder if you did it right
            • Go back and check the connections one more time just to be sure.

            😉

              @fcwilt Thank you. That worked. But I almost got a heart attack. I Checked the connection, checked it again, then checked the connection. I flipped the switch and I heard a strange sound! It was just my arm had snagged the curtin and it popped on the rod.

              Anyway, it worked. Thank you
