      @fcwilt Thank you. That worked. But I almost got a heart attack. I Checked the connection, checked it again, then checked the connection. I flipped the switch and I heard a strange sound! It was just my arm had snagged the curtin and it popped on the rod.

      Anyway, it worked. Thank you

      @bearer said in Bed heating issue now that I'm on 3.1.1:

      you don't even need to temporarily store it in config-override.g, you could just query the paramters an copy that into config.g from the gcode console afaik?
      and thats fine when you know what you're doing,...

      This is what I am doing, editing the printed parameters into the M307 in my config.g file.

      Always wonder why the Duet don't just prints the recommended M307 and planed to ask Duet3d to add it so here it is https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/17958/feature-request-please-have-m303-printing-the-recomanded-m307 . Feel free to support that request 😉

      @Phaedrux :
      I solved my problem, I add the command M501 at the end of my config.g.

      I use in my Duet2WiFi the firmware version 3, RepRapFirmware Configuration Tool v2.1.8.

      I made the autotune in the BED and I add the Heater model parameters at the config-override.g.

      Now it's working well, thanks for the support.
      thank you for your support. I read your previous recommendations on the topic.

      Thanks to all for your help.
      The anycubic heatbed comes already with with wires attached.
      But i'll keep that in mind and check the diameter.

      @nxt-1 I would not buy safety devices like thermal fuses via ali-express. TCOs made by well known manufacturers, with multiple safety certifications, are only about $1 each. This is no place to get cheap. If you're in the US, Digi-key and Mouser sell TCOs made by reputable makers, with multiple safety certs.

      Don't use tape to hold the TCO to the bed/heater. If the tape fails the TCO won't do its job. Screw or clamp it down mechanically or glue it down with high temperature silicone, like the stuff used to make gaskets for engines, available at any auto parts store.

      TCOs have to be chosen for adequate current and operating temperature, typically 20C or so above the expected maximum use bed temperature. Consult data sheet for exact selection criteria.
