Can I connect a wired camera to my Duet 2 Wifi?

@tratoon There's a couple of options to use a RPi + camera on this page: https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/Reference/DWC_webcam

@droftarts I plan on buying a Duet 3 and a RaspberryPi 4B and install it on my printer and run it on Duet+SBC mode. Do you recommend a camera, and is there anyway to create a timelapse (@resam 's integration only works in non Duet+SBC mode).
-
@droftarts More specifically, would it be possible to use MotionEye OS on Raspberry Pi 4 With Duet 3 in Duet+SBC mode using a Logitech C270 and have layer by layer time-lapse? If so, how would I get the time-lapse part of it setup?
-
@tratoon See further down the page I already linked: https://docs.duet3d.com/en/User_manual/Reference/DWC_webcam#motion-on-a-raspberry-pi-running-dsf. See motion supported hardware for supported cameras.
I don't know if DuetLapse works in SBC mode.

@droftarts Is it possible to create a timelapse using motion?

With Duet Lapse yes
-
@phaedrux Can I use Duet lapse in SBC Mode?
-
@phaedrux And what wired camera would you recommend for this setup (preferably at 1080p) that is compatible with Duet Lapse?
-
@phaedrux Since I plan on usinga Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB for this setup would I need to supply external power to the Pi or not?
-
@tratoon as it’s controlled by motion, it’s any camera supported by motion, as I linked earlier.
Yes, an external PSU for the RPi is recommended.
