What gcode flavor do you use in prusa slicer reprap or reprap/sprinter? I currently use reprap firmware but I was wondering if there are significant pros/cons to using one or the other.

The sprinter version is much older. Use RepRap.

@phaedrux got it thank you! It seemed like the more appropriate choice anyhow but good to have someone reaffirm the choice

I was wondering what the better choice would be.
Then I probably intuitively (or accidentally) made the right choice. 🙂
But what EXACTLY differentiates the two now, I would like to know.
Does anyone happen to have a link to more detailed information ?

@norder I'd imagine it's to do with the gcode commands that are used by the respected firmware.

This is a list of gcodes, and you can see some are not used by Sprinter.

WOW, that's a lot that Sprinter doesn't support.
One wonders why the PrusaSlicer still has this option, because there are important commands that Sprinter does not know at all.

                Thanks for the link, @Rushmere3D.
Tip: If you search for Sprinter on the page (Strg + F), it will be faster because the page is very long, so there is a lot to read. 🙂

If you search the prusa slicer github you can find the discussion on the switch from reprap/sprinter to reprap flavor. Basically to adopt modern reprap syntax.
