"sudo apt dist-upgrade" Doesn't update main board?

Hi all. I followed the instructions for SBC connected duet upgrades and it doesn't appear to have upgraded the Duet3 main board. I am getting compatability warnings and the board appears to be on 3.3.
How should I upgrade?

@DocTrucker try sending
M997and see if that updates the board.
If not, you could either briefly run the board in standalone mode and update it that way or use BOSSA -

Running 3 P3Steel with Duet 2. Duet 3 on the shelf looking for a suitable machine. One first generation Duet in a Logo/Turtle style robot!

@DocTrucker on a typical install, using M997 shouldn't be needed and the SBC should do it all for you. I don't know why it failed in your case
