I suggest unplugging everything and seeing if you can get it back to life
I just tried but nothing

The firmware needs to be flashed to the board itself. If it has been erased (and it looks like it has), you will need to flash it with BOSSA, see https://docs.duet3d.com/User_manual/RepRapFirmware/Updating_firmware#all-other-duet-boards
@droftarts ok, I tried and finally now I can homing the axis. But the board still not connect to wifi connection.
Following the M122 report. What should I do now?

Send
M552 S1
and see if it reports any status change. If not, you'll need to reflash the WiFi firmware. Fortunately, this is easy. First, make sure you have the 'DuetWiFiServer.bin' file on the SD card. It will be either in the /firmware folder, or in the /sys folder. You can check this on the Duet by sending
M20 P"/firmware"
andM20 P"/sys"
. If it isn't in either, you'll need to copy it onto the SD card, into the /firmware folder, from the 3.4.6 zip file.If it is in the /firmware folder, send
M997 S1
. If it is in the /sys folder, sendM997 S1 P"/sys/DuetWiFiServer.bin"
. This should flash the firmware to the Wifi module. Then sendM552 S1
and see if the WiFi module turns on.After that, you may need to set up the WiFi again. See https://docs.duet3d.com/en/How_to_guides/Getting_connected/Getting_connected_to_your_Duet#h-5-connect-duet-to-network

@genioluiz7 The last command you sent was M552 S0, which tries to turn the WiFi module on but in idle mode. You need to turn it off again with
M552 S-1
, then runM997 S1

@genioluiz7 Can you comment out the M552 in config.g? I think it's stuck trying to start the WiFi module. Then reset the Duet, connect via USB and serial terminal, then send M997 S1 without sending any other M552 commands.

Many thanks. Ok. Is it correct? (See the code below)After do that, how can I upload the edited config.g from the SD card to the board?
; Network
; M552 S1 ; enable network
M586 P0 S1 ; enable HTTP
M586 P1 S0 ; disable FTP
M586 P2 S0 ; disable Telnet -
@genioluiz7 Yes, that's correct. If you edited it on the SD card, that's all you need to do. If you edited config.g on your PC, then you need to copy it to the SD card. Then replace the SD card in the Duet and reset.
The config.g file is read by the Duet at start up. It shouldn't now try to turn on. Connect via USB and send M997 S1.
If the WiFi updates correctly, and sending M552 S1 turns it on (check with M122), then you will need to edit config.g to enable networking at start up, by removing the
;
from the M552 S1 line.Ian

@genioluiz7 I'm not sure. Try sending
M552 S0
to put it in idle mode, thenM997 S1
.If that doesn't work, I think whatever event caused the firmware to be deleted in the first place may have damaged the WiFi module. Looking back at the first M122 report you posted, it says:
Last software reset at 1988-01-29 20:06, reason: HardFault undefInstr, Platform spinning, available RAM 106152, slot 0
We have found "HardFault undefInstr" (undefined instructions) are quite often associated with ESD (static discharge) events.
Ian
-
@droftarts So, how can I verify this?
I saw during the tests that the blu led on the wifi module sometimes flashes. Maybe is a signal that it is still alive
There is somenthing else we can try to do? -
@genioluiz7 did you try using M997 S1 to reinstall the WiFi firmware?
