Can check, with a multimeter, if Duet shocket for steepers motors its sending voltage when Duet moves motors?

        For example...

        A- Multimeter in voltage mode
B- Measure voltage beteewn PINs (i dont know beteewn what pins)
        C- Send with DWC G1 Z500 F100 (Z for 3 motors moves, and F100 slow=

        Can work?

Your outputs and M122 report all look OK, so I don't understand why it isn't working. Your WiFi firmware is a little old, but that won't affect the motors.

          • Please answer my other question: what revision Duet is it? It's written on the top of the PCB, probably 1.03 if it is a recent purchase.
          • After you send the G91 followed by the G1 S2 X10 command, are there any messages on the GCode Console tab of DWC?
          • After you send those commands, does the stepper motor lock and become difficult to move by hand, or is it still easy to move by hand? (Only move the carriages slowly by hand).
          • Please confirm that you have nothing connected to the Duet expansion connector.

Are you able to measure the voltage between the ENN pin of the expansion connector and ground? It should be +3.3V with just USB power provided, and fall to 0V shortly after VIN power is applied.

There is another thread about a similar problem at https://forum.duet3d.com/topic/5956/webcontrol-usb-connecting-leds-light-up-but-motors-not-turning/8.

                      Hi,

Measure voltage with USB connected. NO?

With steppers of, i have to read aprox 3.3V
With steppers moving, i have to read 0.0V

                      Correct?

                      Pins to check

Those are the correct pins to check. With USB power only supplied, you should get 3.3V between them. When you apply VIN power, it should drop to 0V.

Those figures are not right. I think we need to exchange your Duet and examine it to see what is wrong.

Hi @peirof, I've just experienced a very similar fault on one of my bench test systems. So I suspect a firmware issue. I am investigating it now.

Hmm, I can't reproduce the problem since I reset the board. But i definitely had a similar issue: firmware thinking that everything was normal, but motors not turning.
