Panel Due Tool Temp
-
Hi Everyone,
My 7i Panel Due showed up today. Very exciting times. It looks awesome.
I do have one question thought. On the display, it does not bring through the temp of the active tool (only one anyway) nor does it the extrusion multiplier etc.
I am guessing I am not doing something right but was hoping someone could point me in the right direction
Kind Regards,
Sam -
What M563 commands do you use to configure your tools? PanelDue doesn't yet adapt to different mappings between tools and heaters/extruders, so if you are using anything other than M563 P0 H1 D0, M563 P1 H2 D1 etc. then the display won't be correct.

Hi @dc42
Here is my tool excerpt from my config file.
Tools
M563 P0 D0 H0 S"Extruder" ; Define tool 0
G10 P0 X0 Y0 Z0 ; Set tool 0 axis offsets
G10 P0 R0 S0 ; Set initial tool 0 active and standby temperatures to 0CDo I need to do anything in the slicer?
Kind Regards,
Sam

@samlogan87 It looks like you are using the bed heater outputs for the extruder. H0 instead of H1. As David says above, that may not display as it doesn't follow the default arrangement.

Ah ok. Bugger. Yeah I thought I would use it as I have a AC powered bed.
Is this on the change request?
Kind Regards,
Sam

@samlogan87 you can still use the bed heater to control the SSR to run the AC bed heater.

Hi @Phaedrux
Yeah I was just wanting to use the bigger mosfet for the heater as the SSR doesn't need it.
I have seen a few posts about some work being done on the screens shortly. Is this a change request?
Kind Regards,
Sam
