    • RE: Files disappearing from the motherboard

      I have made some progress.
I inserted an SD card from a printer that doesn't work into one that does, and the same symptoms appeared. It appears that the printers are not working because of errors on the SD card. The only question that remains is what is causing them, because I find it hard to believe that so many SD cards broke at the same time.

@jay_s_uk Check "config-override.g" maybe you have z-offset comand on this file.

@dc42 Yes, I have a macro enabled in the deamon.g file that is responsible for controlling the LED color depending on the printer status and temperature, but I don't think this macro saves anything to the SD card.
I don't see the M929 command anywhere in the files, and no log file was created on the SD card. In addition, reformatting the SD card should repair the FAT and the error still occurred.
Yesterday I tested a couple of other cards, new and used, and after inserting very old SD card so far one device works fine and I was able to upload a couple of dozen files to it without error.

I just checked the firmware version on all printers and the two that have this problem are 3.4.5
One that works fine has 3.4.0.
Upgrading to 3.5.0 did not solve the problem.
The printers worked without any problems for over half a year

    • Files disappearing from the motherboard

      Hi,
I have a strange problem and I can't solve it.
On Friday the printers finished printing and turned off as usual, but on Monday strange things started happening to them.
I have 3 identical printers in the same configuration with a Duet 3 Mini 5+ WiFi/ PanelDue / Tool Board 1LC.
2/3 printers at the same time have the same problem.
Uploading gcode to the card via DWC causes such an error.
      image-2023-06-30-13-12-31-684.png
After this all files from my printer disapear, on system i don't have any files and my printers can't do anything
      image-2023-06-30-13-13-40-679.png
DWC works fine i can use all cards and i see files on "Jobs"
      image-2023-06-30-13-14-05-024.png
An error appears after refreshing the website
      image-2023-06-30-13-14-33-708.png
After rebooting the motherboard, all files are visible and the printer is working properly. Of course, the SD card has been replaced, but the problem still exists.

Connecting the motherboard itself to YAT shows this error
      image-2023-06-30-14-11-28-365.png
In addition, the diagnostics did not indicate any problems with the card
      image-2023-06-30-14-27-20-540.png

The SD card in PanelDue has the same problem

      What has been done:

      • Replaced SD cards (Cards connected to the computer work fine)
      • SD cards formatted with different cluster size
      • Connect devices to another WiFi network
      • Check the connection of the SD slot on the motherboard
      • Firmware update

    • RE: Two thermisor on chamber and limited heater

Initially, everything works. But not in the case of the M303, when using auto tuning, even M143 is turned off and the temperature of the heating element rises "endlessly". When entering initial PID parameters, and simply setting the chamber temperature, M143 works fine.
Do you have any idea how to use autotune correctly in this system? At best, I will set it up manually.

@infiniteloop Thanks you for example, I will test it tomorrow and write about the results.

I know, 200W its to low but this is only test setup with small chamber, ultimately setup have more power.

    • RE: Two thermisor on chamber and limited heater

@infiniteloop ofc. 100k is correct value,I was copying these lines from screenshot and made a mistake.
Yes i use my e1temp to control chamber temp, and my bedtemp to control my heater (like thermostically control) i try limit heater temp by M143 like on this link.

      Example

You have heater 3 mapped to a chamber heater which is supposed to be temporarily turned off when the temperature in it exceeds 65C. The thermistor for the chamber is set up as a virtual heater on channel 104 and can be viewed on the "Extra" panel on DWC (refer to M305 for further details on how to set this up). To achieve this you can configure an extra heater protection with the following gcode:

      M143 P100 H3 X104 A2 C0 S65

But in RRF 3.01RC2 and later parameters on M143 have changes.
I use this hardware settings becouse i dont have heatbed.

      Hardware settings.
      Hotbed socket - heater
Hotbed thermistor - thermistor phisicaly touch heater
E1 thermisor- thermistor 200mm away from heater

I want use my hotbed thermistor to limit temperature on my heater and control chamber temperature by E1 thermistor.

    • Two thermisor on chamber and limited heater

      Hi,
I am using Duet2 wifi and RRF 3.3.
I want to configure a heated chamber with a 200W heating mat. The heating mat is limited by the thermistor and the chamber thermistor is higher. I set it up this way, but it doesn't work.

      M308 S0 P"bedtemp" Y"thermistor" T10000 B4138
      M308 S3 P"e1temp" Y"thermistor" T10000 B4138
      M950 H0 C"bedheat" T3
      M307 H0 B0 S1.00
      M141 H0
      M143 H0 S50 T0 A2 C0 P0

In DWC I have options to choose the chamber temperature and in the "extra" tab I have temperature. When the chamber temperature is set 50, the temperature in the "extra" tab increases indefinitely. According to the configuration, it should stop at 50C. Am I doing something wrong? The heater is connected to the bedheat, the thermistor to limit the heater is bedtemp and the chamber thermistor is e1temp
