RE: CR10 with duet mini 3 5+, nothing moves or heats
The board is also not responding to YAT to connect or send commands. It is showing that it is connected to my computer though. I had this problem already once, and I ended up having a replacement board sent.
It connected before I put the SD card back in with the new firmware. -
RE: CR10 with duet mini 3 5+, nothing moves or heats
@jay_s_uk I am using the Duet Mini 5+ firmawre, I opened the config file and its basically blank, I guess now I can write the correct code for the config.g

RE: CR10 with duet mini 3 5+, nothing moves or heats
I did not do any coding in config.g, only used the reprap configurator to set all the parameters. I can do that in vs code, not sure what file to open for that because I programed the firmware on reprap and uploaded it straight to the board. Just write my own?

CR10 with duet mini 3 5+, nothing moves or heats
So I rebuilt an old cr10 (V2) printer, and completely rewired it, then programmed the firmware through reprap, and uploaded it over an ethernet connection, and nothing works besides the lights on the board lighting up. I have checked all the wiring with a multimeter, no loose connections. I also triple checked that they were not wired backwards. I have gone over the reprap several times as well, and I just can't figure out why its not working. It would basically be the same setup as a CR10 smart pro, as I also converted it to dual z, direct feed, and a BL touch probe. It has a brand new power supply as well. I also have the Panel Due to control from the machine. When I input any codes there, same thing, nothing moves.

RE: CR10 turned duet, board no longer communicating with desktop
@droftarts I have already done all of that, and the board is not being recognized. I have tried all 8 cup usb ports, and 4 different cables. The light is blinking quickly from dim to bright when I press the reset, and nothing shows up on my computer.

@droftarts the firmware after I did the configuration setup in rfr.

RE: CR10 turned duet, board no longer communicating with desktop
@oliof did that and it did nothing. Tried all 8 cpu usb ports, and 4 different cords. I think its something wrong with the actual USB slot on the board, because its getting power from the cord (not main power) and the light goes dim and then bright over and over like it should when I push the reset button. But nothing changed.

CR10 turned duet, board no longer communicating with desktop
So I have bee rebuilding a Creality CR10 with a Duet Mini 5+, after using the rf config tool, and after I attempted to upload anything in Pronterface, the upload did nothing and now the board no longer connects to or is recognized by my computer. The lights come on the board when plugged in, but my computer no longer recognizes it, even after trying multiple USB cables. I also have a paneldue 5 if there is a way to go around through that.
