    • RE: Duet 2 Wifi not detecting SD card

Still getting the same issue. This is the message I get as soon as I connect via usb:
      RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet Version 2.03beta3 dated 2019-03-25b6
      No SD card present
      WiFi is disabled.
RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet is up and running.

    • Duet 2 Wifi not detecting SD card

My printer sat idle for a little while and now it will not connect to the network. When I connect via USB I get a "no SD card present" message. The SD card works when i connect it directly to the computer however.

      @deckingman:

Works for me. Maybe it got fixed between your post and mine?

Weird…I still get a 404 when I try the link.

    • RE: UPS integration

I did a bit of research and came across this https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/How-to-monitor-a-UPS-by-serial-port/m-p/3318648/highlight/true#M972416

At least for the cyberpower brand units mentioned, they send just send simple on/off signals on the control lines for low battery and AC power loss so we could presumably trigger something to happen in each event.

    • RE: UPS integration

The way I see it, if you just want to stop a print when power goes out M911 works. The benefit of a ups would be the ability to print despite the power going out (especially useful if you only lose power for a couple of seconds/minutes at a time). The most useful situation I can think of would be as follows:
      1. Power goes out, printer keeps printing from ups power.
      2. Power comes back, printing continues. Otherwise:
      3. Power stays out, ups reports battery situation to duet.
      4. Duet pauses print and shuts down printer before ups battery runs down.

    • RE: Over Temperature Shutdown Cannot Extrude

There seems to be a black spot on my E0 driver:

But I don’t see any damage on my Y driver.

What would damage to the driver look like? Input voltage is only 12v.

    • Over Temperature Shutdown Cannot Extrude

Help! My duet just flashed an over temperature shutdown on drivers 3 message. I restarted it and now it won't extrude. When I hit "extrude" in DWC the motor makes a squeaking noise but then nothing happens. Did I break it? I was printing earlier today and the only thing I've changed is to set up mesh compensation.

Update: I left it alone for a while and came back to discover that I can't move my Y axis either. When I try to home Y it makes a grinding noise and then stops.

    • RE: Intermittent Extruder Issue

Just a quick update, I think I solved the issues. I discovered that I had the wrong thermister B value for my hotend. I fixed it and ran a PID tune and now I'm still getting alot of underextrusion but it doesn't stop and start like before.
