@dc42 said in Installing an Endstop on a RAM extruder.:

need to configure the extruder motor as both an extruder and an extra axis,

How can I configure the extruder motor as an extra axis with endstop?

    • RE: 3.3V voltage regulator damaged / DUET2 WIFI

@alankilian thanks for your reply. I checked and this is a short between 3.3 and GND (0 resistivity !). I forgot to mention that 1A fuse was blown.

Would it be possible to recover this board? What else can I check?

    • 3.3V voltage regulator damaged / DUET2 WIFI

DUET2 WiFi is not responding, 3.3V LED is OFF, so I followed instructions here and replaced the 3.3V voltage regulator for a new one. However the problem persisted. I removed the regulator and measured it outside and it got damaged, I measure 5.0V at V_out. Could it be a short between 3.3V and ground? What do you suggest checking? Please, I need some help !

    • RE: 5V GPIO

@markz thanks. I have to control a GPIO of an AT89S51 that recieves +5V or 0V.

Therefore, I have to control the output of DUET GPIO with +5V or 0V.

    • 5V GPIO

I need to switch on and off an external device from DUET2 WIFI. which has to be done by applying +5V (OFF) or 0V (ON). How can I achieve that from DUET2 WIFI?

    • Retract/Extrude buttons disabled

I am setting up a system with a syringe pump instead of extruder but, the same system as 3d printer. I have firmware 3.3 in DUET2 WIFI.

I cannot test retraction and extrusion as the buttons are disabled (grayed).

I already allowed cold extrusion and also removed heater for T0.
