@jay_s_uk Thanks, I flashed in fresh firmware and moved them to the proper menu directory. I'm still not seeing anything on the LCD
EDIT: Flipped my cables one more time and now have it working, thanks so much!!!

I'm having this exact same problem with the same hardware, I'm sure I'm missing something very simple. I have my display connected and can change the RGB colors of the display by editing the config file, but can't seem to get it to display anything. I have loaded a menu set from the suggested list and changed the master file to "menu". What am I missing?

I followed the Duet guides on making the wiring loom and updating to the most recent firmware and everything.
@phaedrux I can't feel any heat coming off the board from anywhere to the touch under VIN power.
I did connect a PanelDue and had that working fine, but then I tried to make a wiring loom to use a BTT LCD text display, the one most Vorons use, and encountered these issues after plugging that in for the first time.
I bought this duet back in 2018 from Filastruder in the US, it's been my back up board for years in case any of my other Duet boards fried I'd be able to swap quickly and get back up to running, but I never ended up needing it. Just took it out of the box 3 weeks ago.
@phaedrux Just plugged this into my Windows work laptop, nope doesn't make a chime and I can't see it as a USB device.
I've basically come to the conclusion I just need a new board, which is really frustrating
@t3p3tony Alright, I just had time to give this another shot. I removed the SD card, then wiped the board by moving the jumper and power cycling, letting it stay on for 30 seconds. Plugged it back in to just USB power, can't see the board. I put the SD card back in, still can't see the board.
Tried the full procedure again but kept the SD card in the board while erasing it, no change, still can't see the board with or without an SD card using a known good USB cable and connection. I also tried other cables to verify
@t3p3tony Nope, can't do anything to make a con port show up. I've been told it's time to try re-flashing the card, but I don't have a save file of what it was on it. Can you link me to what files I should be uploading to the same, or a new micro sd card?
Here's how it looks under VIN power:
@phaedrux I get all the way up to not finding a COM port. The board looks fine, still has a lit green LED as expected.
Here's what it looked like wired up:
I've been told to look for USB connection under system info on Mac, is it the billboard device? Still nothing when I usb into Simplify3D and search for it.
@fcwilt No, I took all the LCD wiring out.
So I was trying to wire up an LCD panel and now am unable to connect to my Duetwifi 2 board at all. When powered on, all the lights come on except the blue WIFI LED, both under regular power or via USB. I can't connect to the board wirelessly or over USB though. No fuses on the board are blown. What else can I try?
I've currently connected all the non-button related LCD pins to try to get the screen to turn on when the printer is powered on and show something, nothing so far. Flipped the connectors in the LCD, still nothing. I'm running the latest Duet firmware and RRF configurer. I've modified my config file with the following:
M575 P1 S1 B57600
M918
Using this as a wiring guide for the LCD: https://wiki.fysetc.com/Mini12864_Panel/
What am I doing wrong here?
So I'd like to wire up a standard Voron text display to use as my LCD on my Duetwifi 2 powered printer. Here's the specific display I'm using: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P5LXR86?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
I've found this wiring diagram:
But am confused on which header is which on the Duetwifi 2 board and which direction the pins actually run. Is the Conn LCD the far header, both marked with orange circles?
I could also use a pin layout for this specific display if anyone could point me in the right direction for that.
Thanks so much!
I took the lazy way out and just designed my own Z-stop switch, didn't like the tool head Z-stop either. It's only a 150mmx150mm bed and it's super flat, being all manual will be fine. Thanks for everyones help
Here's the config, can't get any variation of it to read the sensor properly.
Well I updated everything and got it sorted out to connect to wifi, now back to the original PNP sensor issue. What should the Z-probe square be reading?
If I just send an M552 command to check the status of the wifi, it always says it's being started.
@phaedrux Hmmm, well I uploaded those three sets of firmware like you instructed, but on the third one it didn't reconnect to DuetWifi. I plugged it back into my laptop for terminal access, looks like I can start the wifi module but not connect it to anything, it says it's busy.
