    • Sensorless Homing Core XY

      Good afternoon,
I am in search of some help getting sensorless homing working on my core xy machine.

I used the documentation page to setup the basic bits of my config file but have had no luck with any adjustments to config.g

I tried adjusting speeds as well as motor currents percentages and my machine just runs into the edge and keeps trying to move causing shuttering and for me to immediately shut off the machine.

I have tried using several homex/homey config files from related sources and nothing has worked. homex.g

I'm not sure what I'm missing. Are there other variables that should be adjusted besides feed rate and motor current percentage?

What other details are needed to troubleshoot this with me?

      Thanks,
      Danny

@Phaedrux I'm using a three stranded and four stranded version of this:
https://www.mcmaster.com/5106N11/. That's what I had on hand. The cables are approximately 48" long. I can't go much shorter as that's the cable routing for the printer I'm currently modifying. I connected them into a ribbon cable by adding Dupont connectors.

    • Trouble Connecting Accelerometer For Input Shaping

      Hi,
I've been struggling to get my Duet 2 Ethernet to recognize the LIS3DH accelerometer I wired up. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BU70B64/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

I've wired it according to the guide posted on the docs page, using the daughter board connector. I have the same accelerometer that was used in the post but I can't get my system to recognize it's connected. I verified continuity and pin locations several times just to make sure it wasn't a bad connection. I have a green light showing I have power. Still nothing. At this point I'm out of my depth and not sure what to do next.

Running on DWC 3.4.5 and Config is below.

Any help is much appreciated. accelerometer.jpg
