    • RE: 1LC Can Bus wiring probems

      @dc42

      I am such an stupid cattle..... I ve found the reason. it was in front off the printer...

      With my first cable rj11 cable i used the can bus connector, after remounting the 6 HC i turned the direction and now i used the ethernet port.

      It is normal , that this won´t work... Shame to me....

      I have checked everthing twice, but not the correct port !

      @dc42 with "Jumper" you mean the soldering pad on the lc1 ?

      Ist there an point in the 6hc where i can use as measure point for the can Bus ?

      Can i measure if the soldering pad is connected correctly ?

      My cable ist an german ADSL cable with an rj45 jack and 2 wires on Pin 4 and 5.

      @dc42

      I ve tried everything, other cable, switching the 2 Can bus cables...

      I have nothing found what to do with the 2 free red /black wires . Should i connect thin, even i have soldered the soldering terminaton plate on the board ?

      I have only Cables with 2 wires, maybe that is the problem ?

      i have checked the wiring, seems to be ok, maybe my cable is a little bit too long ?

      i ve checked all possibies the Can_H and Can_L is correctly wired ( checked with a multimeter)

      I will try to get another cable.

    • 1LC Can Bus wiring probems

      Hello,

      i have some problems with the correct wiring of my 1LC to the duet 6 HC

      I am using an RJ11 Cable with 2 wires on pin 4 and 5 . It looks like this

      no wire
      no wire
      no wire
      green wire --- connected to black wire ( pin 3) on the 1LC
      grenn white wire connected to red wire ( pin 4) on the 1LC
      no wire
      no wire
      no wire

      The solder jumper for the resistor is already briged.

      with this setting, the red led on the 1lc is blinking fast and an red led on the 6HC is blinking slowly.

      Do i have the correct setting ?

      Best regards

      Chris

    • RE: X Axis not homeing

      @jay_s_uk i seperated the endstop wires a little bit from the stepper wires and now the endstop is back in normal service.

      Thanks for the good idea, but i am wondering, where the problems came from.

      now it is working and printing normally. Thank you very much for your help.

      @jay_s_uk , i can move to+- without problems at the dwc.
      Indeed if i press home X in the DWC, the printhead moves around 5mm.
