    • Slic3r Prusa G-Code Flavor

      I am using Slic3r Prusa 1.39.1-prusa3d-win64.
Duet Wifi 1.21 Firmware 1.21 Server Version, 1.21 Web Interface

I am trying to print a muli-color butterfly with prime tower and hardware retraction.
No custom G-Code for tool change, start, stop, etc

If is use G-code flavor RepRap/Sprinter then I get a ton of
Error: M900 command is not supported
Error: M907 command is not supported

Other choice are not mutch better
Repetier (Can not use Wipe Tower), only supported for Marlin, RepRap/Sprinter)
Marlin (Can do all) Get the same M900 and M907 errors
      Smoothie (Not tested)
No extrusion (Can not use hardware Retraction), only supported by Marlin, Smoothie, Repeiter, MachineKit)

      and may more

Any idea on what G-code flavor I should use.

Or do I need to use another slicer

    • RE: Material Order of Preference for Machine Components?

I printed most of my DBOT parts in PETG and some in PLA.
But After some time the PLA cracked and I reprinted them in PETG.

The DBOT has been running hard for over 1 year

      My VOTE is for PETG

      @dc42
Yes, It is related to what slicer created the file

If sliced with Repetier Host Cura, shown in the Generated by Cura_SteamEngin 15.01.
The error happens when calculation Object Height/Layer Height/ and Filament Usage.
Onec calculation is done only Object Height that has any data, Layer Height/ and Filament Usage has n/a

      All other slicers I tried worked just fine Slic3r 1.2.9, Slic3r 1.34.1-prusa3d-win64, Sl1c3r 1.37.1-prusa3d-win64

Browser or web problem. Error after uploading a file

      JavaScript Error

A JavaScript error has occurred so the web interface has closed the connection to your board. It is recommended to reload the web interface now. If this happens again, please contact the author and share this error message:

    • RE: It's out! Firmware 1.21 released

      I am getting
      Request Timeout

The last HTTP request has timed out. Please make sure the connection between your device and the board is not interrupted.

Anytime I go into G-Code Files then into a Directory with lots of files. I get a spinney icon then
      request Timeout

the files has a * infront of them.

Looks like when I go into a directory that I have not gone into after the patch
Some sort of processing is going on change the * to a page icon

Same problem when I upload a large gcode file
when I hit close after uploading
the file show a * and the the Request Timeout

    • RE: Mini height sensor Having Problems

Ok I think I have this figured out
I was trying the command by sending gcode through the web not in the config.g

Once I put the commands in config.g
On reboot I got 4 flashes and it looks like it is working.
I will be testing more tomorrow after I remount and rewire it back in place

This bring up a few question
      1. on boot up does the sensor output become a input to read the config from the duetwifi in the first 4 seconds?
      2. Is this only done at bootup or can this be triggered at any time?
      3. Does the sensor use all 6 Z probe modes?
      4. What does each flash mean 1,2,3,4,?
      5. Is there a place I can read these details

      Thanks
