Yes its a 6HC, i won't be back at the shop until tomorrow morning when i will follow this advice and respond with results.

I did however take this opportunity waiting for a new toolboard to rewire everything to be sure, in that process now.

I'll expect to know more soon but I feel like an idiot not noticing the power loss and I'll wait to have something compelling before I run my mouth again.

@kingofthegeeks this should be possible using firmware 3.3 but not with earlier versions. Prior to probing using tool 1 you will need to execute a new M557 command using U in place of X, e.g.:

M557 U0:420 Y25:410 S47 ; define mesh grid

Adjust the U coordinate range so that it is reachable by the tool on the U axis. This command tells RRF that you require a height map for the UY plane not the XY plane.

It sounds like DWC tab has been slept or something and the data for the layers etc isn't being captured during that time.
