@gloomyandy Yes. And usually the Z axis max speed would be set low enough to limit it to a safe speed in all cases so it's never really noticed.

Not sure if they would be happy with a high frequency PWM input, but if you turned the PWM frequency down to maybe 10 Hz or so they'd probably be OK powering a print cooling fan.

All of these are so cheap and so useful, it's worth buying some just to keep in your parts bin in case you need one some day. You never know when you'll need to light up an LED, power a fan, etc.
