    • Hooking up speaker to duet 2 wifi to "beep"

Is there a way to hookup a small internal 2 wire speaker to the Duet 2 wifi board directly? Trying to get the mobo to "beep" when prints or autobed leveling finishes WITHOUT installing the PanelDue monitors.

If this is possible, how can I make this happen? Will this speaker work and where can I connect the black and red wires to the motherboard?

      Thanks in advance

    • RE: More over extrusion with increasing layer height

Of course.... right after i posted this and gave it more thought, I noticed my fan was set to turn on after layer 3.

I played with the fan speed and see that it was cooling the nozzle too much. Above 25-30% power, the extruder would click and the print quality would turn to crap.

Lots of great ideas. I've been spending too much time tinkering with this thing, I went ahead and bought a PanelDue 5i hoping the trial-and-error learning curve will be minimal to get the speaker to beep. Would be nice to have a display anyways for those moments when I'm not near my phone or laptop and need to adjust print settings as the printer is going...

Thanks for all the feedback and options.

I replaced my triangle lab heat break, nozzle, heater block, thermistor, heat cartridge, and Nema 17 extruder motor with genuine E3d parts and my issues are fixed. Just need to tune my slicer settings but i'm able to print now!!! went with the volcana heat block and 0.60mm nozzle x. really liking the bigger nozzle which has significantly increased print speed.

in addition to slicer tuning, going to try to get the Duet 2 laser filament sensor up and running tomorrow 🙂 0_1560059460763_2019-06-08 22.40.02.jpg
