    • RE: No access to Web Control after Sensor Config change.

      @phaedrux Thanks for the fast reply fellows.

      I replaced the files on the SD and flashed the 3.4 firmware via the PanelDue.
      After that the Wifi adaptor no longer turned on, connected the Duet to my pc and turned on wifi adaptor by a command.
      Connected through the COMM port and did the Wifi turn on command, all good now.

      I can't find the 'Issue resolved button" here, but this topic can be marked as solved.
      Cheers

    • No access to Web Control after Sensor Config change.

      Hi,

      After changing my Extruder settings via the Reprapconfig tool from the standard setting to the RTD settings (i have a + PT100 board + PT100 sensor for my Duet2) i am no longer able to connec to the duet web control.

      Wifi of the board is working, i have an IP but the Web control stays on "connecting" with "failed to connect to 192.168.0.170 (the correct IP) Sometimes below it says "incompatible" firmware version, sometimes it says "unexpexted token in JSON at position 0".

      i'm kind lost here, all i need is to get back on the web control.

      My panel due display this.
      I havent been able to connect to the web control ever since i got the RTD error;

      @DigiD

      Thx for the input, i actually have been think about this.
      I bought a small solenoid for this purpose but was not able to get it working, possibly i was/am not thinking of a good implementation.

      Solenoid.jpg

      This is how my Z axis is driven, my solenoid design was not able to hold the axis, which made sense as soon as i tried it. Maybe you have a different idea how to implement the solenoid?

      @oozeBot

      Thanks for the pictures.
      Not really relevant for me i am afraid.

      Today i connected the relay like seen below, Z motor not working.
      Relay also does not seem to be turned on, no short on coils when power is turned off either.

      Is there anyone who can help me with my previous post?
      Help is very much appreciated, it is basically my last step before i can start testing my printer which has been in development for the last 3 years.

      Thank you everyone for the responses!

      @dc42 , Great forum and suppport you have going on here.

      I have the same relay as mentioned in the plan it's this one.
      https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32760607353.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4dJsEquu

      I made a plan, could you be so kind to make some simple changes to the plan? i used MS paint.
      That would be very kind! I can see how to connect the motor part, i won't use any resistors like you mentioned but i am not sure how to connect the other side of the relay though

      Thanks in advance

    • Duet 2: using Z brake

      Hi,

      I have been trying to find a brake principe for my belt driven Z axis for a while now.
      On the reprapforums someone adviced using a relay to short the 2 phases of a Nema stepper motor. I am just wondering how i should connect this to my Duet2 wifi board (i am aware this will void warranty). I was also informed the braking might not last long on a long and heavy Z axis (45 cm and +-5kg)

      Can anyone advice me how to connect this for a duet2 instead of a MKS board?

      Thanks in advance. For all interested, the info is on a russian link, just translate the page.

    • RE: Duet WIFI 2 , Heater 0 defect

      Hi Dc42,

      Sorry for the late answer.
      I do mean the E0 Heat.

      I am not sure where the E0 Heat mosfet is:

      I looked all over the board, i can't see any trace of something burned.

      Thanks

    • Duet WIFI 2 , Heater 0 defect

      Hi fellows,

      My duet wifi 2 no longer heats from Heater 0.
      If no Heater Cartridge is connected the LED does turn on when i give command to start heating.
      If a Heater Cartridge is connected the LED does not even turn on.

      It started with prints failing because of the heater 0 suddenly stopped heating, after a reset it worked again.
      I was troubleshooting the issue but now i can't even get it to heat again.

      The hotend is working fine now with Heater 1, it is something with the Heater 0 terminal but not sure what is going on.

      Does anyone have an idea?
      Thanks
