Wel all the configuration is contained to the config files, so a fresh set from the config tool is as close as you can get anyway.

For the firmware, you can simply re-upload the full firmware zip file and that will take care of that.

@Falcounet I think I have it now. I have set the G92 entry in homez.g to the height difference between the Z endstop switch trigger point and the height of the bed (1.5mm) and now it prints - it's only taken me 6 hours to find the solution.

Changing M584 to - M584 X1.1 Y1.2 Z0.1:0.5:0.3:0.4 E1.0. fixed it.
It still takes the long way round to get to each point but now the Z is levelled and does not drop.

Before the change it was constantly adding (Ca. 7mm)to the negative reading on the first lead screw.

Thanks, I leave it as is for the moment until I become more confident.
This thing flies, just gone from X200 Y0 to X20 Y250 in less than a second - scary fast.
