The instructions say, Run ls /dev/tty.* My Mac comes back with command not found. That's as far as I can get.

did you run it in a terminal?
what happens if you just put in ls?
if it cant find ls then you mac path variables might be wrong

i installed a usb driver. Now I'm getting
                screen /dev/tty.usbmodem14241
                [screen is terminating]

The screen pops up then says: Sorry, could not find a PTY then it terminates.

                  https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Guide/1.)+Getting+Connected+to+your+Duet/7

                  you are missing the baudrate

If you get an error, Sorry, could not find a PTY. unplug the USB, plug it back in and try again.

                    screen /dev/tty.usbmodem14241 115200
                    [screen is terminating]

Same thing happens with the baud rate.

maybe its easier to remove the sd card, and add your wifi stuff to the config.g file and put the card back in the duet?

Scrolling sounds like the board is reset for some reason, see if it behaves the same without the sd card when you run it. Could be worth trying to re-flash the firmware after that, but given that it shouldn't be necessary you may want to hold off on that.

                                  Change powersupply by chance?

Anyways, all that ends well and all that 👍

Same power supply. New 24v Meanwell. I just unplugged and replugged everything in about a half dozen times. Have no idea what finally got it working. Oh well. All's well and all that..

did you have the psu and usb connected at the same time?

No. Just the board plugged into the USB.

Could be the USB port and/or cable was unable to supply enough power to let the board start up; if it started working after you had the config on the SD card and with the 24v supply that would make sense. But I'll stop beating a dead horse now
