Well done. Another great example of using the DBot as a base for further refinement.

        Nice!

Put a bead of high temperature silicone around the edge of the bed heater (per the Keenovo manual)

Thanx for the suggestion I saw about silicone on the manual I have to buy it!

Do you happen to have a link to the Keenovo manual? I have a Keenovo heater and would like to apply this high temperature silicone.

Edit: is this a reasonable choice for sealant? https://www.permatex.com/products/adhesives-sealants/sealants/permatex-clear-rtv-silicone-adhesive-sealant/

            Yes that would work.

I used this one since the temp range was even further above what I would be using. I figured it would have more longevity: https://www.permatex.com/products/gasketing/gasket-makers/permatex-high-temp-red-rtv-silicone-gasket/

You can also find high temp RTV silicone with copper for greater thermal transfer potential. https://www.permatex.com/products/gasketing/ultra-series-gasket-makers/permatex-ultra-copper-maximum-temperature-rtv-silicone-gasket-maker/

            Here's the keenovo manual.

Thanks @Phaedrux, this is very useful. My thinking is that clear RTV will allow me to inspect it over time but chances are that once I apply it, I will never look at it again. 😉 BTW, I think I have 81160 laying around, used it once to glue a thermistor to a heated bed.

Once it's applied I don't think you could do anything to get it off again even if you wanted to, at least not without damage to the heater.

I'm planning on doing much the same thing to my D-Bot this spring/summer (if I can wait that long). Do you have links to the lead screw mod that you did?

The Keenovo heat bed was in my original build. Really focusing on the 3 lead screw implementation as well as incorporating a BLTouch (potentially).

                  Thanks!
